Planning Fees

My planning fee starts at $350 for fully customized itineraries. This covers:

• A tailored trip proposal

• Up to two rounds of itinerary edits

• Curated research on hotels, activities, and local experiences

• Access to exclusive perks through my preferred travel partners

• Full support before and during your travels

For simpler hotel or cruise bookings, there is often no additional cost because I’m compensated by my travel partners. However, any planning fee will always be disclosed upfront so there are no surprises.

Similar to working with a real estate agent or interior designer, my fees reflect the time, creativity, and professional expertise involved in crafting your personalized travel experience. Planning fees are non-refundable and do not apply toward the cost of your trip.

Booking Commitment

To confirm our working relationship, I require a credit card on file once we begin planning. This ensures mutual commitment and helps protect the time and effort invested in creating your trip, even if you ultimately choose not to move forward with a booking through Grateful Lux Travel.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules vary depending on travel suppliers. Typically, a deposit is required to secure bookings, with final balances due closer to your departure date. All payment and cancellation policies will be clearly outlined in your proposal.

Travel Insurance

I strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip. This helps protect your investment in case of illness, cancellations, travel delays, or emergencies. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, you assume full responsibility for any financial losses that may occur.

Documentation

It is your responsibility to ensure that all travelers have valid passports (often valid at least six months beyond your return date), visas, and other required documentation for entry into your destinations. Grateful Lux Travel cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to missing or incorrect documents.

Limitation of Liability

While I work exclusively with trusted suppliers and partners, Grateful Lux Travel acts solely as an intermediary and cannot be held liable for the acts or omissions of third-party vendors. My role is to advocate for you and help resolve any issues that may arise, but ultimate responsibility lies with the service providers involved in your trip.
